Right on the heels of the Aaron Rodgers news, the Broncos immediately move to secure their quarterback of the future in Russell Wilson.
In a deal that involves "a massive amount of picks and players", Denver QB Drew Lock, TE Noah Fant, and defensive lineman Shelby Harris will be sent to Seattle along with 2 first round picks, 2 second round picks, and a fifth in return for Wilson and a fourth round pick.
More details to follow, but it seems Denver's general manager George Paton has set his sights on optimizing the playoff window his roster is in, and the addition of Wilson elevates the potential in the Mile High City to compete with division rivals Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert.
It's a new era in Broncos Country.
