The playoff push is here and while power rankings don't necessarily reflect playoff chances, it does give us an idea of which teams have a shot at making a deep run and which might be...faltering down the stretch.
1. Green Bay (+1)
2. Kansas City
3. Tampa Bay (-2)
4. LA Rams (+2)
5. Indianapolis (+4)
6. Buffalo Bills (+3)
7. New England (-3)
8. Dallas
9. Arizona (-4)
10. Cincinnati (+3)
Indy and Buffalo make huge leaps, while New England and Arizona drop after devastating losses with playoff seeding impact in week 16. Green Bay reclaims the top spot, while KC garners a vote for first and could finish the season there with a win against Cincinnati this weekend. The Bengals, for their part, climb into the top 10 after a huge divisional victory over Baltimore last week, with Burrow and Co hoping to upset the Chiefs and take the AFC North at the same time.
11. Tennessee (-2)
12. LA Chargers (-4)
13. San Francisco
14. Philadelphia (+4)
15. Miami (+2)
16. Baltimore (-3)
17. Minnesota
18. New Orleans
19. Cleveland
20. Las Vegas (+2)
The Chargers lost a surprising matchup against Houston last week and jeopardized their playoff hopes in the process. Tennessee is in a similar boat, losing games but staying afloat until the eventual return of Derrick Henry. Philly and Miami keep winning games, and both moved into the 7th seed of their conference after last week. Baltimore, largely due to the absence of Lamar Jackson, has been in a free fall and now just hopes to stay alive the last few weeks and retain a postseason berth. To do so, they must survive the LA Rams in week 17 first, possibly without Jackson once again.
