As we approach the run for the playoffs, we are seeing some teams get eaten alive by injury and others thrive despite it. Let's see how it's all shaking out as we get ready for today's games. New England already shut out Atlanta on Thursday night, so we can expect them to keep climbing the rankings as we move forward.
1. Green Bay Packers
2. Tennessee Titans
3. Dallas Cowboys
4. Arizona Cardinals
5. Los Angeles Rams
Green Bay takes the top ranking for the first time of the year for SportsLeaf, and the surging Tennessee Titans with the best AFC record hop up to number two despite losing Derrick Henry until the playoffs (if the make it). Dallas rebounded from their embarrassing loss to Denver and remains a team to beat, while the Cards and Rams have fallen off a little partly due to injuries and strength of schedule catching up to them. The Cards have been without their QB, best wideout, and starting running back for weeks. After the bye they look to compete for the top spot once again with a healthy roster, so we aren't fading them too much. The Rams will need to get it together, as they have lost a few games to good teams, and if they want to be a contender they will have to start beating good teams.
6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
7. Buffalo Bills
8. Kansas City Chiefs
9. Baltimore Ravens
10. New England Patriots
The Patriots are surging on a 5-game win streak behind a shutout defense and an efficient offense, and we expect them to keep climbing. Tampa and Buffalo have suffered some odd losses but overall are still heavy playoff favorites, so we look to see how they handle the next few weeks. Baltimore is...really good. But really inconsistent. Mahomes and Kansas City have had their struggles, but they haven't had an embarrassing loss yet like other top teams, and we just can't keep a Mahomes/Hill/Kelce team out of the top ten.
